Origata Etiquette Yuwa-kai
Origata is one of the ancient Japanese samurai etiquette methods, mainly involving folding and wrapping gifts of money using washi paper.
At its root is the spirit of respect for others and humility, that is, the spirit of courtesy that maintains smooth human relationships. When you entrust your thoughts and wishes of sharing joy and sorrow to objects or money and wrap them beautifully in pure washi paper, the shape will transcend form and resonate purely in the heart of the recipient.
This origata is supported by universal beauty and principles that evoke the most important heart-to-heart contact in human relationships. It contains the spirit of harmony that people of old have carefully cultivated.
At the “Origata Etiquette Yuwa-kai”, we will carefully teach you a variety of origami that are close to such lifestyles, while following the seasonal calendar and events at the turning points of life.
